Well I thought I would post something prior to the busy weekend. Sunday is Peter’s 6th birthday and he is very excited about that. Erika and I are thrilled, as each birthday with all our kids is a blessing. It has been a busy time for b-day’s around here. Ellie turned 4 on April 29th and Erika’s birthday was April 30th, you can ask her how old she is! Ellie enjoys being 4 and acting like she is 14 and Kate she just enjoys all the ice cream! Peter and Ellie have there first soccer games on Saturday, and then we are going to the twin cities for a friends 40th and will celebrate Peter’s birthday while we are in town. On Sunday we are taking the kids to the Mall of America amusement park, they are pretty excited! Also, Erika and I want to again say thanks for all of your support of Peter and our family, we are truly fortunate. Like you, we are very thankful that Peter is doing so well and you all have been a huge part of that. Anyway we will let you know how the big weekend goes, if you are anywhere but Minnesota you should enjoy your weekend, we are supposed to get a couple inches of SNOW!

Hey Pete! Happy early birthday…
Kate & Ellie brought their wristbands for the Nickelodeon Amusement Park @ MOA today…. they are quite excited! Ellie was having a hard time figuring out which “Backyardigans” character was on her wristband… soooo… she & I went online and did a pretty extensive Backyardigans search (ha-ha!!) We figured out that it is “Pablo.”
Thanks for all the great birthday ideas, Peteman!!!… finding something special for you while out shopping will be the highlight of my weekend! 🙂
Here’s hoping you have a super-dee-dooper fun weekend! I am heading to the MOA next weekend for a Mother’s Day retreat! (ahhh….. ) so, you’ll have to give me full details on the best rides, ok!!?!?

First of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY ON SUNDAY PETER!!!!!.
May is a busy birthday month for us. Jacob will be 8 on the 17th, his sister will be 10 on the 12th and Mom’s birthday is the 10th. It is a great month to celebrate. On the 18th it will be 7 years ago that Jacob was diagnosed with neuroblastoma. We are enjoying the good weather here in Colorado and looking forward to summer.

I have been following Peter’s site since he was diagnosed. Peter’s uncle is my daughter’s Schawn man. My Grandson was diagnosed with a Wilm’s tumor around the same time. He will be 5 soon. He is now cancer free, and doing great too. I am so happy for all of you that things are going well. I will continue to pray for Peter and all of you daily. Have a wonderful summer!
Haven’t been on for awhile — 6 years old that is just awesome. The next thing will be professional Hockey I suppose. Go for it!
