After a fun Saturday in Madison, WI, watching Boston College play Wisconsin in hockey, the Eigner’s returned to Minneapolis on Sunday. They reported to the hospital on Monday morning and learned that Peter’s counts were too low to immediately start the next round of chemo. So they were not admitted to the hospital, but are scheduled to return on Wednesday morning to get things underway. He should be recovered by then.
In the meantime, Ty, Erika and Peter (and Ellie’s here, too) have been hanging around the cities to save a trip back to Brainerd. It’s been nice to be together outside of the hospital, for a change. Peter seems as normal as can be right now. The big guy was showing his sister and younger cousins his dance moves last night. The kid can really shimmy.
Here’s a picture from the trip to Madison. BC Golden Eagle, Carl Sneep, is with Peter after the game. They are mutual fans.
Happy Halloween Pete! You look great in your Boston jersey, I bet you had a lot of fun watching Carl play at the big rink! Good luck with your next round of medicine this week. You are such a brave boy, and we’re all so proud of you! Love, Maggie
Happy Halloween to my favorite Hulk Man! Do you have any special plans for tonight? It’s going to be C-O-L-D! Emily and Lily are going to go trick or treating in Papa and Monga’s neighborhood. Did you know that about 600 trick or treaters visit that neighborhood! That’s alot of candy to hand out, isn’t it?!?! 🙂 We are having a small daycare party today, too. It would be sooo much fun if you and your sisters were here, too! Next year, right??!! 🙂
Did you know that Kate & Ellie are going to spend the night with us this Sunday so your Grandma Barb and Grandpa Poopster can attend your benefit concert? Emily & Lily are SOOOOOOOO excited for the big slumber party! (I am excited, too!!) Are you going to go to the concert, too? Hopefully you’ll be strong enough so that you can practice your “shimmy” some more! (I’ve got to see that move sometime!!!)
We will pray that your counts sky rocket so that round 4 can get underway tomorrow! Can you believe that it’s time for round F-O-U-R already!! Wow…. you are just whizzing through this chemo! We continue to think about you very often and pray for continued success as you battle your way through the path thing! LOVE YOU, Bud!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
Love, Jenni Ryan Emily-Clare Lilyanna & Parker

Hello Peter and Happy Halloween. It was a cold one here in Brainerd but we dressed warm and braved a few houses. Then we came home and Baden dressed up in outfit number two to hand out candy to the neighborhood. They had fun at the party and look forward to the next time that you all get to dress up together. Cool on going to watch the hockey game. Things should be heating up pretty good on the ice here soon. I’m sure that you will be front and center at as many games as you can. Keep aiming for your own goals and knocking the path thing out of the hockey rink. You can do it buddy. We are all praying for you so hard and Baden is telling me more and more about Peter and miracles. Good luck with round four. We’ll keep thinking hulk thoughts and offering up hulk like prayers.
Love,
The Bastians
Dear Peter,
Happy Halloween. The kids want to ask , “Do you know why a witch flys a broom?
Because a vacuum cleaner is too heavy!” Hope you got a lots of treats and a few tricks too tonight.
We are thinking of you all the time, and are waiting for you to win this battle so we can get into a knockout game of knee hockey at the Enebak house. GO Peter!
AS always, our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Be strong like the hulk when you start your next round of medicine. We know you will keep on fighting.
We hope to join you for some fun soon. Have your mom or dad let us know when it would be alright to see you and your sisters.
Take care Peter!
Blessings, Jake, Becky, Henry, Emma, Sam & Zach
Hi Peter,
Hey, I’m picking up some pretty cool jokes on this web site of yours – I hope they make you smile as much as I do when I read them!
Well big man, you look pretty grown up in that Boston College jersey. With your determination and courage, and some good coaching from your dad and your hockey friends like Carl, I think we can all envision you wearing your own college hockey jersey some day! (plus, I hear you can already send a pretty wicked slap shot!)
Keep fighting hard in this next round Peter. We’re all cheering for you, and praying for you, every day.
Lori Swanson, Cary, Luke, Brooke and Erica
P.S. Peter – what do you get from a cow in a bad mood?
Sour cream! 🙂
Hey Pete
Great picture with the Boston College jersey. Nice to see you two paving the way for the next Brainerd Warrior to play for Boston College. The value of that scholarship is monumental and a tribute to the Brainerd program. This is a positive step in the right direction. I also see you are rubbing elbows with a winner in both life and hockey. This will rub off on you, Pete. Salute from all of us @ MHC to you, Pete. Love ya, -ole gringo-
Hey Pete Man,
We had fun hanging out for a few days and really fun going to Uncle Troys and aunt Michelle’s for Halloween I’ve got some great pictures of you, Ellie, Grace and Lilly. I’ll take good care of your candy bag
while you are in the hospital. My hand won’t even get close to it. HONEST!!!!
Hey I see you got an e-mail from Gringo. Next time you see him you will have to ask him if he remebers taking your Dad, uncle Trent and
Uncle Troy with him to clean out the Hockey Storage Room. They came back with all kinds of old equipment. That was the start of their hockey careers, But then we didn’t call him old Gringo, we just called him Gringo.
Have a good night,
gma mary
/Troy
Good luck Peter. I really enjoyed seeing you in the hockey jersey. Stay strong and remember I am praying for you. Cheryl Bailey
Pete,
You are going to have quite the collection of hockey jerseys when you say good bye to hospital visits! I was so excited to hear you went to a college game. We are big Michigan fans (go blue!) and when we lived in Ann Arbor we never missed a game! I bet having your bud Carl out there on the ice made it even more exciting.
I am going to try to make it to the benefit on Sunday to meet you. You might not be there as I know you started your 4th round yesterday, but I will keep my fingers crossed. I know you will be there in spirit, I just wanted to see you cuttin’ a rug out on the dance floor.
Do you have any tips for my almost 3 year old when he learns to skate? We are going to get him on skates this winter and thought you could help us out. I know you are an expert!
Keep fightin’ the path thing. Sounds like your winning!
Hope to meet you soon,
The Franklin Family
Matt, Darcy, Charlie, Willie, Loki, Gunnar & Buddha
Hey Pete man,
I haven’t seen you in a couple of weeks so it was nice to see the picture of you with Carl. Dino said the game was a lot of fun!! I hope you had a great Halloween and looked scary in your HULK costume. Did you get any candy?
Did you share it with Ellie Belly??!!
Take care big man,
Woody
