For a few weeks now, Peter hasn’t been feeling well. He’s been complaining of a sore tummy, he’s been tired, and has been vomitting on occasion. There was even a report of Peter being grumpy at daycare and not nice to his sisters, which is never the case.
When the symptoms didn’t subside, he was checked out by the doctor and soon after was in for blood tests. His blood showed that his sed rate was out of whack, so there is some kind of fight going on in his little body. Meanwhile, he has been losing weight and not always eating consistently.
Some pretty scary words were presented as possibilites for what could be going on and we soon had more results from the blood tests.
Lyme disease? No.
Lukemia? No.
Auto-immune disorder? No.
That’s good. But something’s still the matter.
Hey Pete Man!
Dino and I are thinking about you everyday! I hope you are feeling better and get well soon. We love you and are praying for your fast recovery.

Ty & Erika,
I was so shocked to hear about Peter in the paper yesterday. Our prayers go out to you and Peter. Will make sure they are mentioned at Sertoma today. We found after Jenn’s accident this spring, the power of prayer is incredible. Please take care as best as you can.
Hey Pete-Man! Hang in there buddy. We’ve all got you in our prayers.
Hi, you don’t know me…I was introduced to this site by a mutual friend, Amy Gordon. Just reading through this website and learning about Peter and your family, I was thoroughly touched by the strength and courage of Peter and everyone who loves him. Coming from a very close family, myself, I couldn’t even imagine what you must be going through. Please know I will keep your family in my prayers.
Ty & Erika,
I just got the news from Hanny last night. I can’t imagine what you and your family are going through! Peter sounds like a very strong and determined boy, just like his parents. After revieiwng the website, which is great by the way, he definitely has a strong network of family and friends that will help him beat this current obstacle in his life!! You are all in my prayers and thouhgts. I will be thinking about you and Peter on a daily basis. Please let me know if there is anything specifically that I can do to help.
God Bless,
Bobby (Bouncin) Pilon
